Sunset Mansions is a first generation apartment arcology in New Vancouver. It is known for its autonomous governance model that incentivizes indoor medicinal farming. It is the first residential development to integrate personal shuttle docks on each apartment's balcony landings. Numerous apartments are leased by ZIM. Notable residents include Dr. James Moonweed Wong and Chalice Wong. Its name Sunset Mansions derives from its ultra-reflective exterior surfacing that bounces excess unwanted sunlight onto neighboring developments. This feature was forgiven and forgotten after public anger shifted to the ultra-ultra-reflective Solar Towers completed construction nearby.
