Dr. James Moonweed Wong is a scientist and neural engineer who invented Bag of Beliefs (BOB)s, a technology that augments and supports people’s life paths and egos, with far reaching implications for human agency. Dr. Wong's work is motivated by a desire to uplift society and to refactor parenting so that human children are guaranteed to live to their potential. Notably, Dr. Wong created The Chalice Study, equipping his own daughter Chalice Wong with a Destiny BOB AI at birth, inspired by the challenges of single parenthood.
